Don't look for a Hardee's, You won't find them where I go. Only Americana.

Lots of talk over these tables from good people just trying to make life a bit better.

When I am camping out in the wild, a can of pears is welcome. The small things are nice.

I would have a good breakfast and snack an apple or pears around lunch and would buy a can of soup and some cracker for dinner where ever I was camping.

I lost a lot of weight and it felt great. 189 to 178.

This is the lift bridge at Hardin, IL.

I like to ride the Ferries.

I went across the rivers a couple time on the Il. side of the river which is free. There is a fee to cross the Mississippi on a ferry.

I wonder how they crossed the river in the old days?

I know, I know. I know how they did,, but now that I am right here looking at it... seems much harder then what the text books made it to be.

Road the Vadalabene Great River Road Trail.

This is a beautiful 20 mile trail north of St Louis. WOW!

There is a bike lane alone this busy rode which follows the Mississippi River.

Got to watch the sun set.

Sunset on a bicycle. One of the best days. Wait I think I have said that before.

The Piasa or Piasa Bird is a legendary creature that was depicted in a mural painted by Native Americans on a cliff above the Mississippi River. Its original location was in Jersey County near present day Elsah, Illinois.
