Want to introduce Bob Kennedy

A fellow rider I meet at Nauvoo.

I spent a good couple of days touring the town.

The Mormon Temple.

I am not a Mormon, nor do I want to be, but from a historical view, this is an interesting town.

A horse and buggy ride around the grounds.

Women's garden.

The trees are blushing with color. This is the camp ground south of town.

I got into Nauvoo late and just had a can of soup I cooked up in my Jiffy Boiler Pot. Was very tired and did not take time to clean the pot. The Raccoons bothered me all night long. I cleaned up my food after that.

Rain between Nauvoo and Hamilton. But the ride was so pretty, did not care.

It was all alone the river, and you could see the storms systems coming over the Mississippi. The road had a very nice bike lane on it and I rode without fear.

I rode a total of 4 days total on the ride.Only one day was hard. and got a hotel and slept thru one other.

I was Baptist Christian

The Central Iowa Nations gave me a flute made for me by Michel Hecrow of the Proud Lakota Sioux Indian Nations. I then took it to S. Dakota and blew it over the Bad Lands to seek clarity in Souix fasion. I respect the Indian Nations ideas on life.

I have also climbed Mt Fuji Japan and taken water to the Temple.

I find it necessary to challenge my beliefs from time to time and visiting the Mormons town afforded me yet another opertunity to examine my beliefs.
