Packing is interesting. Guessing what you will need, knowing that you
are probably going to send most of it home.
Little did I know that I would be sending all cotton home because I did not need it or want to carry it any more.
I sold my business as an Internet Service Provider after 7 years of being tied to a server, it felt different slowing down to 10 mph.
The overlooks on the Ill. side of the river are wonderful. The motorist in Ill. were very courteous. By far the nicest people to bicycles I have ever seen.
My father told me not be boastful about my patriotism because patriotism is the last sanctuary to the villian and it deserves better.
So I apologizes to my father for fling the US Flag. It served two purposes.
- Easier for people to see you on the road.
- Red necks that hate bikes think twice before doing something that reinforces their image.
The trees are blushing with color and yesterday I heard a walnut hit the ground as I rode by.
Can't see or hear that when your in a car at 55mph.
